OnePlus 3 gets OxygenOS 3.2.8, now supports 60fps Full HD video recording
OnePlus 3 is now rolling out its OxygenOS update for its OnePlus 3 smartphone. This update will introduce some bug fixes and new interesting features.
In the Update (version 3.2.8), OnePlus 3 users can now do Full HD video recording at 60fps. Along with it, OnePlus has also added an emergency calling feature for their Indian users. Once you update your phone to the latest version, you can make emergency calls by pressing the power button thrice. Both the features mentioned above are available for OnePlus beta testers community.
The company is also working to optimize Snapchat to fix scrolling lag issues and avoid fixed video calling. This update also brings some increased UI stability and common bug fixes.
The company has recently launched its OnePlus 3T flagship device. It’s an upgrade over the OnePlus 3. It has new features faster chipset, improved front-facing camera and bigger battery. The body is still the anodized aluminium which feels great in-hand. The flagship OnePlus 3T is powered by the latest Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 combined with 6GB of RAM. There are 2 variants available, 64 GB and 128 GB. The smartphone pairs a 3,400mAh non-removable battery.
OnePlus 3T has a 16MP back camera with the Sony IMX298 sensor and a LED flash. The camera can record a 4K video, as well as in slo-mo (120fps) videos in High- Definition. The camera has also some great features like Electronic Image Stabilization, Optical Image Stabilization and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), Auto HDR and Manual Mode. It is currently available in India at Rs. 27,999.
The Company said that both OnePlus 3T & OnePlus 3 will receive Android 7.0 Nougat update later this year. The OnePlus 3 will lauch in India on December 2 2016. Unfortunately, OnePlus One won’t recieve these updates. But still they can get Android Nougat on their Devices using Custom ROMs like Cyanogen.
